Evaluation
I believe my sound project went well, it was planned out well and everybody enjoyed being a part of it, nothing went wrong other than in editing when I exported, it stopped it being in both speakers and put it back into being in left and right, for the future I will learn how to use the software better. In my podcast there were four people involved Faye, Jade, Kailey and me.
comparing it to this podcast embedded, they have a lot louder and in both speakers, similarities are they are comfortable speaking as they have no filter (swearing) however, another difference is they have no backing music whereas mine does so it makes it more boring to listen to.
Before doing this podcast, I had no skills in this subject area. I learnt how to set up and record a podcast. I think it went well because, the audio was at the right level and there was no mistakes through the entirety of recording. The answers I got were detailed because they understood the questions I was asking.
Before this project, I had very limited skills in Adobe Audition. I learnt how to properly use the software to create a podcast, I think it went well as I did not lose any of my clips however, I did have one mishap which was losing the dialogue in the export which was resolved by re exporting it.
When working with Jade, Faye and Kailey, they were easy to work with and understood what I needed from them. The delivery of the questions went well as the others understood what I was saying. I learnt how to communicate with others and how to deliver questions properly. I think it went well as everybody understood each other and there was no miscommuncation
Yes, this product is correct for my target audience I know this because I researched into podcasts and their analytics which helped me figure out wether it was right for this age range or not. I also received some feed back;
Luke- Natural, didnt feel scripted, it was planned out, kept the guests under control, funny, it felt like an insight to the subject, loved the sound track, it made me laugh and smile, it was relaxing, maybe next time treat it like a video if you tell us about a band add a snipet of their music
Chad- Enjoyable, factual, stuck to your structure
I think for the future, I need to do some more research into podcasts/radio chat shows as I don't know very much about them as this would of helped me a lot more with my own podcast.
Also, try and get more feedback as it will help with knowing if my target audience is correct or not. I also will need to make sure I evaluate my research to see how it helps me and also take screengrabs along the way.
HI Darcey. You need to relook at what you did technically, skills you gained in sound working with:
ReplyDelete1. Recording live skills, what did you do, how well did it go, what did you learn?
2. Computer software skills, what did you do, how well did it go, what did you learn?
3. Working with voice actors, delivery. what did you do, how well did it go, what did you learn?
4. The suitability of the product for the audience, was it correct? Did you get feedback?
5. Overall, in more detail what would be your action plan, 5 points?
