This if the definition of podcast

I have found a music chat show/podcast called

The Music Chat. It is on a website called stitcher.
The show is when Producers, musicians, and fans can all come together. the show is hosted and produced by Scott Brown. Each show features a guest and they speak about how music has inspired them and how it makes them feel.
When I listened to this, the audio sounded really echoey, however, when the host introduced the guest he told you about him. When the guest came in. he spoke about experiences with music and writing music and his favorite musical artist. It was a good podcast as they were going down the same sort of lines I was which was musical artists however, the only thing that let it down was the audio.

Another one I found is called Sound Opinions from WBEZ Chicagohttps://www.wbez.org/shows
Where the hosts talk about different music eras and different opinions on the songs/artists. The hosts are known as 'Rock Doctors' and they say it's hard to maintain good music health'. The audio on this is very clear, its easy to listen to at the start however, I couldn't listen to the entire thing as it stopped playing I tried a couple of times but it wouldnt play further that around a minute and a half in, This is bad as you're unable to listen to the podcast without it stopping. This is not what I want to happen with mine as I want people to be able to listen to it without any problems

One that isn't based around my subject but is the same type of sound. is called talkRADIO. https://talkradio.co.uk/podcasts
Which has a group of hosts which are Julia Hartley-Brewer, Matthew Wright and Eamonn Holmes.
It was launched in 2016 and they talk about all sorts of things such as; political debate, they also have passionate guests and non-sense broadcasting.
This podcast had a similar issue however with this one, it wouldn't load. Which is a shame as I can't compare the two different podcasts and take ideas and inspiration from podcasts not to do with music.

I also researched into comedy radio shows, this is the description from one of them on a website called radionet American humor all day long wih Dane Cook, Leighann Lord, Mitch Hedberg or Richard Pryor.181.1 Comedy Club online radio. This was not as influential as the others as it was not based around my topic. Upon listening to this podcast, the ads involved were very tinny the audio was not very clear, However the actual podcast was very clear and had an audience in it, this influenced me for mine as I wanted to be able to connect to the listeners even if they are not in the same room

I think for the future, I need to do some more research into podcasts/radio chat shows as I don't know very much about them and it would of helped me a lot more with my own podcast

TARGET AUDIENCE:
the target audience would be 16-25, the gender would be male and female as the gender does not matter because everyone has different opinions on music and also it gives more information for statics these people are more likely to listen to music, as they would have grown up listening to different eras of music because of their parents and grandparents, and also they listen to new releases of music meaning they have a wide range on opinions on different types of music. 40% of 12-24-year-olds have listened or listen to podcasts weekly. Upon average this age rage listen to at least seven podcasts a week

In my research I found my target audience looking at several different podcast analytics to find out the most common age range when listening to music podcasts. This influenced me as being part of this age range it would be easier to connect with the target audience. Also, having a love for music has also influenced me to create this podcast.
