Idea
- Headline.
"Let's sit here and chat about music for fifteen minutes!"
- Explanation of the overall idea:
the expected listener would be 16-25 as they are the main people who listen to music
This will be played on phones, laptops, anything which is able to play
I researched into other chat shows and podcasts based around music to see how they went about creating it. These are from my research page which shows the ones I looked into The Music Chat. It is on a website called stitcher.
The show is when Producers, musicians, and fans can all come together. the show is hosted and produced by Scott Brown. Each show features a guest and they speak about how music has inspired them and how it makes them feel.
Another one I found is called Sound Opinions from WBEZ Chicago. Where the hosts talk about different music eras and different opinions on the songs/artists. The hosts are known as 'Rock Doctors' and they say it's hard to maintain good music health'.
One that isn't based around my subject but is the same type of sound. is called talkRADIO.
Which has a group of hosts which are Julia Hartley-Brewer, Matthew Wright and Eamonn Holmes.
It was launched in 2016 and they talk about all sorts of things such as; political debate, they also have passionate guests and non-sense broadcasting.
The types of sound I need are mainly mine, Faye's Kailey's and Jade's as it is a podcast voices are the only thing necessary in it, however, I also decided to add an intro and background music to give it a better atmosphere.
I believe there is no need for foley sound in my sound project as I am not trying to recreate anything or add sound over the top of the clip.
In my podcast, there are no incidental sounds as there is no need for sound effects to be involved in it because it would not make sense with the subject being spoken due to this I did not include and incidental sounds.
The ambient sounds were unable to be heard due to the amount of dialogue
I used a tv opening theme tune to open the podcast then in the background I decided to add the mii theme as it takes away the awkward silence and as we are all having a laugh and it's a fun atmosphere I thought it would help add to this.

To build this podcast I'm going to use multiple takes and put together the best parts which make sense together and what sounds better. The skills I'm developing in this are with sound and how to adjust waveforms
The equipment I used were two rode mics and a zoom mic. the two rode mics were used by Jade and Kailey and the zoom mic was used by me and Faye. The programme we used to edit was Adobe Audition
